Putting Extensions in App data means that they cannot be reached if a window re-install or a new PC occurs. I get a feeling that Mobirise doesn't actually want people to be able to easily re-access something that has been paid for- even though Mobirise says they give *lifetime* usage. Extensions are not *critical App Data*.īut it is academic if I can't reach files without going through another download - That requires a subscription Using the theme AGENCYM4, I applied its Menu V 3. I tested 3 items in a single theme to see the result. Addons should be reserved for critical App Data. MobiGary, like everyone, I am trying the news in the Forum and how it behaves with the various themes. That is, if Mobirise is true to its word of allowing people access to their files.Īt the very least, please consider moving the addons folder from anywhere near the app data folder. The ability to simply copy files back to the folder would also help. A path to data and a *download all* would be a good starting point. It would be highly appreciated if core functionality received a higher priority than a myriad of themes. Would it kill you to at least add to the app a "Download All" link on the Extensions page - rather than a cryptic, unknown & hidden keyboard command Ctrl+Shift+A. Most of my quality programs allow me to set a path to D drive for files like extensions for exactly this reason.Īs for your tip, thanks, but Ctrl+Shift+A does not work for me. I use a 2 partition hard drive C for windows and programs, & D for Data for all my data such as documents and in the extensions. I back up files for precisely the reason so that I don't have to download them again. I also have a slow connection - not everybody has a fast connection nor does everybody have unlimited data plan. But I should not need i to access my already downloaded and paid for extensions. Support: Thanks, I have a current subscription.
